By defeating Everton on Sunday, City strengthened their lead in the Premier League. The Cityzens were able to set themselves up properly for this match, positioned between the two encounters with Real Madrid in the Champions League, and that pleases Guardiola.
“We played really well from the first minute. I was more impressed with the way Everton defended and converted against Brighton, but we were really good. Every time we win a match we get closer to the goal, but Brighton, Brentford and Chelsea are very tough matches. We’re moving one step at a time.
