Nunes is worth £60m

Nunes is worth £60m. That is how much Wolverhampton want from Manchester City for midfielder Matheus Nunes.

Nunes misses the away trip to Everton last Saturday due to suspension, but is not at Wolverhampton’s base on Sunday or Monday.

Nunes refuses to train with Wolves and insists his transfer to City. Mateus will now face a penalty when he returns to the base, if of course it happens at all.

Nunes has a contract until 2027 with an option for a 12-month extension and with just days to go until the transfer window closes, Wolverhampton are ready to dictate their terms in talks with City.

According to unreported reports, only £60m would force the club with Molineux to let go of the 24-year-old Portuguese, who was bought a year ago from Sporting for £42m.
