After six minutes, Cole Palmer gets on the scoresheet. The youngster, who comes on as a substitute, stricks a touching shot from the edge of the goalmouth that the goalkeeper has cleared to make it 5-0.
In the 73rd minute, the visitors concede a sixth goal. Alvarez bursts into the penalty area on the right-hand side with a defender on his shoulders, stops, uses a feint to evade the defender and hits the goal — 6-0.
With six goals, City decide to limit their lead. The end of the match is entirely uneventful.
Burnley look good at the start of the match, but Haaland is simply unstoppable in his current form. After Erling’s first two goals, everything becomes clear and the Cityzens just finish off their lying opponent.
