City invest £300 million to refurbish Ethihad Stadium and the surrounding area.
The North Stand will undergo an upgrade. It will add 7,700 seats and increase the arena’s total capacity to around 61,000.
The renovation project also includes a new hotel, an indoor public space for fans, a club shop and a museum.
Last week City completed the approval stage with their fans and local residents. The Premier League champions must now apply for planning permission.
The Cityzens hope to begin construction in November to open the revamped North Stand in time for the start of the 2025/26 season. Other work will take another year.
