“Laporte’s suspension? It could have been either a yellow card or a red card. It depends on the referee and what he thinks. As for the cancelled goal (by Gabriel Jesus), I suppose the linesman there will say there was an offside.”
“We didn’t lose because of that. We conceded the first goal and couldn’t respond to it. However, then for 25-30 minutes of the second half, we were good.”
“However, when you play 50 minutes with ten men against 11, it’s difficult because a team like ours has to run the game in a certain way.
“The players showed character, but unfortunately very, very many things were not right and we lost the match,” as the boss Guardiola admits errors.
