“I have been a City fan since I was a child.
When we were kids, my brother used to root for City. He was the main reason why I became a City fan too.
One day they went to London with the school and I asked him to bring a David Silva jersey. He wore number 21 at the time and was my favourite player because I played in his position as a kid.
I am very proud to be able to wear his number. I think it’s very nice that another Spanish player took number 21. I will try my best going out under that number.”
